Cathy Curtis is a Certified Financial Planner™, NAPFA member, and independent RIA. She opened her firm, in 2001 and focuses on the finances of women and their families since 2008. Curtis Financial Planning offers comprehensive financial planning and portfolio management services. Cathy's core client is a professional mid to late career woman who seeks her help to ensure a successful retirement or early retirement or sometimes a career change. She also works well many widowed women who were accustomed to having their husbands manage the household finances. Cathy is a frequent public speaker on topics such as marketing to women, personal branding and digital marketing. She lives and works in Oakland California and loves to swim, hike and practice Pilates and it is an avid reader of both personal finance journalism and fiction.
