A Conversation with CFP Board Leadership
The financial planning profession has strong momentum — and real questions about what comes next.
Join CFP Board leadership for an open conversation about the future of CFP® certification and the profession. This session is designed as a genuine dialogue, inviting your input, perspective and candid discussion.
We’ll discuss how CFP Board is advancing the profession’s influence and impact, from strengthening competency standards and expanding public awareness to enhancing the profession’s voice.
A central focus will be the Academic Pathways Working Group, which is reviewing the need to maintain or modify the bachelor’s degree requirement. The questions it’s wrestling with about access, rigor and the profession’s future talent pipeline don’t have easy answers. Your perspective matters and will help shape what comes next.
NAPFA's Board Chair and CEO will share key organizational updates including new programs, member resources, and strategic priorities shaping the future of our profession. The NAPFA Foundation will highlight recent initiatives and efforts to advance fiduciary financial planning education and research.
Join us to celebrate our NAPFA community by honoring members who have made outstanding contributions to the profession and the clients we serve. This awards ceremony recognizes the dedication, innovation, and leadership that exemplify the highest standards of fiduciary practice. We will also acknowledge the invaluable contributions of our volunteers whose service and commitment strengthen NAPFA and support our mission throughout the year.
This is your opportunity to stay informed about NAPFA's evolving initiatives, connect with leadership, and celebrate the achievements of your peers who are advancing our collective mission.
