Hi. I am Craig Joncas, a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) who believes that EVERYONE deserves access to quality financial advice. With the help of my team at Penobscot Financial Advisors, I provide comprehensive Financial Planning and Asset Management services to individuals and families regardless of their income, assets or financial standing. I strive to develop long-term relationships with my clients, by acting as more than just their trusted advisor, but also as an educator, friend, and partner in their financial success.

Our firm specializes in working with University Professors and Professionals, as well as young professionals. We deliver Financial Planning services on a monthly fee basis and set this pricing relative to income – making our services affordable to everyone. We also perform Asset Management services on an assets under management pricing schedule. We work as Fee-Only Fiduciaries, bound to an obligation to work in the best interest of our clients.

A Maine native, I earned my degree in Business Finance from the University of Maine. Always having an interest in personal financial planning, I was fortunate to intern with Penobscot Financial Advisors during my time there. Here we are over ten years later, and I serve as the Managing Principal of that same firm. My Maine roots have ingrained the values of hard work and loyalty, which I apply every day with a strong commitment to my firm and our clients.

At work, I perform multiple roles. I am an Advisor to clients, serve on the Financial Planning, Marketing & Investment Committees, and serve as the CEO at PFA. I enjoy the variety that each day brings and working as a team to build an organization that delivers quality advice to those who need it the most. Outside of work, you’ll find me trying to improve my golf game, bowling, running, or enjoying the Maine outdoors and the changing seasons!
