This session will share the results of David Allison’s Valuegraphics Project to create the first accurate inventory of core human values. After five years and 750,000 surveys in 152 languages, the Project created a global record of what we value and why people and clients behave the way they do. It is our values that drive what we do—not our age, gender, or education. Demographic labels only tell us what people are on the outside, not who they are on the inside. And it’s what’s inside that counts in our interactions with clients.

Learn how to find your focus with clients and others in this new values-driven economy, to connect to people by honoring their values, and to see the patterns in the noise and understand what the real signal is.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Learn how to engage people and influence the decisions they make
  2. Discover the specific shared values for our profession’s custom audience and learn how to use these findings to reach people and engage with them like a trusted friend
  3. Learn how to create values-driven solutions that will resonate deeply–eight times more powerfully than ever before–with the people you care about most
