Conference Scholarships

Diahann W. Lassus Scholarship

This scholarship was created to provide financial assistance to students from CFP® Board Registered Financial Planning Programs to attend a NAPFA National Conference. The scholarship will cover conference registration fees and a travel stipend of up to $300. Five scholarships will be awarded for each NAPFA conference (Spring and Fall). To apply, complete and submit application by March 13, 2020.

Diversity Scholarship
NAPFA’s Diversity & Inclusion Initiative sponsors several merit-based Diversity Scholarships for NAPFA members and non-members to attend a NAPFA National Conference. To apply, complete and submit application by March 15, 2020.

NAPFA Genesis Conference Scholarship
The conference scholarship covers the cost of conference attendance, as well as a lodging and travel reimbursement up to $750. Scholarship winners are expected to attend the majority of sessions, the Genesis social, and the Genesis community meeting. To apply, complete and submit application by March 15, 2020. Winners will be notified by April 1, 2020.

NAPFA Midwest Region First Time Attendee Scholarship

NAPFA's Midwest Region Board is sponsoring scholarships for registration to NAPFA's Spring 2020 Conference in Denver, CO. To qualify you must not have attended a NAPFA conference in the last five years. Non-members can also apply but you must meet the qualifications to be a member of one of the membership categories. Submission for application closed on March 6, 2020.

NAPFA Midwest Region Student Scholarship

NAPFA's Midwest Region Board is sponsoring scholarships for registration to the Spring 2020 Conference in Denver, CO to two students. To qualify, you must be enrolled in academic coursework in pursuit of a degree or designation that will lead to a financial planning career. Submission for application closed on March 6, 2020.

NAPFA West Region Scholarship

NAPFA's West Region Board is sponsoring scholarships to NAPFA's Spring 2020 Conference in Denver, CO. These scholarships include full conference registration and travel reimbursement up to $500. These scholarships will be offered to two first time attendees (or haven't attended a NAPFA conference in the last 5 years) and to two attendees from a small firm (2 or fewer advisors) in the West Region. Submission for application closed on March 6, 2020.
