Jean-Luc Bourdon, the founder of Lucent Wealth Planning in Santa Barbara, California. He has been a regular contributor to TheStreet.com, Pacific Coast Business Times, and CPA Insider. Jean-Luc's articles have been published in AICPA Wealth Management Insider, The Tax Adviser, and the Journal of Accountancy. He has been quoted in numerous national publications and is a frequent speaker for the AICPA Personal Financial Planning (PFP) Section and the California Society of CPAs. Jean-Luc has served on the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) Credential Committee and the PFP Executive Committee of the AICPA. In 2017, he received the PFP Distinguished Service Award from the AICPA. Jean-Luc has also served on the PFP committee of the California Society of CPAs and on Buckingham Strategic Partners' Advisor Council. He was one of the founding coaches who helped establish the Board Certified Coach (BCC) credential.
