Mr. Caban founded Copper Beech Advisors, LLC on a holistic, life-integrated approach to financial planning, designed to help “real people” in the Great Valley and surrounding communities take control of their financial lives.

As a member of the Alliance of Comprehensive Planners (ACP), Tim is proud to apply the time-tested approach developed through the collective wisdom of the 150 members of ACP: a core group of highly credentialed and experienced financial planners who support each other professionally. Among their numbers, ACP members count CPA, CFA, CFP, PhD and Attorneys, including practice experts across the spectrum of the financial planning process.

Mr. Caban has also been accepted as a Fully-Registered member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors(NAPFA), a group of over 2,000 financial planners nationwide who are committed to a strict fee only compensation model, and adhere to rigorous continuing education requirements and ethical standards. In addition, Mr. Caban is a member of the National Association of Tax Preparers (NATP).

Mr. Caban has over eighteen years experience in financial services. Before starting his own firm, Tim worked as a currency trader at JP Morgan & Co. and an equity trader for a privately held firm, in New York City. He then spent five years working as a risk manager and capital advisor at the JP Morgan Private Bank in New York. Finally, he spent one year at a local Registered Investment Advisor called Sage Financial Group in Conshohocken, PA before starting his own practice.

Mr. Caban is a Certified Financial PlannerTM and a graduate of Dartmouth College. Tim is also an enrolled agent (EA) who is licensed by the Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before the IRS.

In the community, Tim currently serves on the West Chester Area YMCA board and volunteers as chair of the East Whiteland Historical Commission. Tim and his wife Kerin live in East Whiteland Township with their two children.
