Planning with Annuities: Real World Case Studies
Many fee-only advisors might have a not-so-rosy view of annuities due to high fees and commissions built into the products. However a shifting regulatory environment, product enhancements, and greater transparency are making advisors take a closer look at annuities. Whether it is one of the many lower-cost retail annuity products now available with little to no commissions or institutionally priced products available through retirement plans, annuities can add flexibility while addressing many of the advisors’ client’s most pressing concerns. In this session will review three different scenarios to help fiduciary advisors understand how these products can fit in their planning process and how they can access those products designed to work in a fee-only business model.
