RESPONSIBILITIES WE'LL TRUST YOU WITH
Support the firm's owners (lead advisors) directly in managing existing and new client relationships. Assist in various projects including portfolio reviews and preparing financial plans and retirement projections. Talk and coordinate with clients over the phone, via email, and in-person professionally and respectfully. Involvement in all aspects of pre-client meeting activities such as preparation of meeting agendas, client paperwork, Investment Policy Statements, asset allocations as well as post- client meeting tasks such as developing meeting notes, performing financial situation analyses, and coordinating planning implementation with outside professionals when necessary. Assist with trading and rebalancing of client portfolios. Assist in preparation of business documents as necessary; policies, procedures, and other actions determined necessary for good business. Maintain high ethical standards. Begin managing client relationships with utmost privacy and confidentiality. Present yourself in a professional, well-mannered way that reflects positively on the firm, its owners, and our clients in the community.
QUALIFICATIONS
B.A. or B.S. degree (spring graduation 2021 acceptable) and completion of an accredited CFP Board registered financial planning program
2+ years of experience or prior internship(s)
CFP® certification or within 2 years of employment
Series 65 within 1 year of employment
Strong math, financial, and analytical skills
Willing to relocate to Southeastern Virginia
Understanding of a Christian worldview. Possess high emotional intelligence and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to identify, meet, and follow through with client needs and requirements. Must be a self¬ starter, problem solver, and goal-oriented team player. Be organized, with a great attention to detail. Possess a high sense of accountability. Candidate will be able to work independently and will demonstrate initiative in becoming familiar with client needs and advancing their own technical financial planning knowledge and skills.
