We are currently seeking a Wealth Advisor who is familiar with the fee-only fiduciary model of delivering financial advice, as well as considerable knowledge of financial planning and investment management strategies. This position requires a goal-oriented, self-motivated and professional person. The selected candidate will have the opportunity for significant career advancement based on demonstrated relationship skills, technical abilities, judgment and integrity.


The primary responsibility of a Wealth Advisor is client retention and reviewing/presenting client-related financial planning and investment recommendations to existing clients. Wealth Advisors also conduct introductory meetings for prospective clients who are referred to the company. They must be familiar with and fluent in understanding a variety of the advisory industry’s concepts, practices and procedures. They rely on experience and judgment to help clients solve complicated financial and investment management issues. All candidates should demonstrate a desire to network, build relationships and communicate effectively with people.


As a key member of the client’s advisory team, the wealth advisor works with senior and lead advisors, other wealth advisors, and associate advisors on assigned clients’ financial planning needs. Centralized operations, client service, and investment management departments allow the advisory teams to focus on the clients and planning.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university

• Minimum 2 years' experience working directly with clients in a financial planning environment

• One of the following professional certifications: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Certified Public Accountant/Personal Financial Specialist (CPA/PFS)

• Experience working in a fee-only, fiduciary business model where clients come first is preferred

• Must possess a sound understanding of complex financial planning and investment management strategies for High Net Worth clients

• Strong knowledge of the tax code and related tax minimization strategies

• Experience advising clients on real estate investing and/or small business issues is a plus

• Knowledge of employee equity-based compensation plans

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Must demonstrate excellence in organizational and time management skills

• Must be comfortable working in an environment that relies heavily on technology and software

• Professional and knowledgeable demeanor
