Resource Advisory Services is a fee-only financial planning firm, dedicated to developing relationships that help people build and enjoy wealth. Our team of five currently serve approximately eighty clients, with $110 million of investment assets and a steady flow of new client relationships. Client ages range from their 30s to well past retirement. One CFP® principal is 40. The other is 71. One team member holds a Master of Personal Financial Planning and CFP®. Another is on track to complete a master’s degree and CFP®. The firm is a NAPFA Corporate Member, with thirty-four years serving clients as a fiduciary advisor. OPERATIONS MANAGER POSITION
This position expands the roles of a retiring team member, from office manager and client services to operations management for a growing team. In 2018, Resource Advisory Services upgraded elements of its technology and managerial infrastructure, to enhance client service and efficiency. Key responsibilities will include:
• Maintain traditional office manager functions, while defining future operations positions
• Develop operations and client services staff, including entry level financial planners
• Key liaison with custodians, financial institutions and an external accounting firm
• Key liaison with an external compliance consultant, including cybersecurity issues
• Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, including a cloud server host
• Maintain general ledger, payroll, payables, receivables and budget variance reporting
• Maintain personnel records and regulatory reporting
Successful candidate will have:
• Passion for serving others, with a wide range for financial planning advice
• Experience with a CRM, preferably Junxure Cloud
• Formal accounting education, with QuickBooks (or similar application) experience
• Experience managing client service staff, including hiring decisions
• Ability to oversee migration from Portfolio Center local to a cloud portfolio solution
• Ability to research, recommend and implement technology upgrades as needed
• Ability to oversee client-level cost accounting for profitability and pricing decisions
