Julie Quick, CFP®, BFA™, CDFA® is founder of Cultivate Financial Wellness, a virtual practice where she caters her services to helping women all over the US navigate the financial challenges experienced before, during and after divorce.
Working with a wide variety of clients throughout her 25+ year career has taught her that financial planning is about much more than numbers—it’s about paying attention to the values, emotions and life experiences of each individual person.
Women, in particular, face unique financial challenges. These may include the long-term effects of the gender wage gap, time out of the workforce to care for family members, and longer life expectancies - all of which can be compounded by a divorce. Julie harnesses her personal and professional experience to help women move from feelings of uncertainty and insecurity to financial empowerment.
Julie lives in Howell, Michigan, with her firefighter husband, Jeff, and their dog, Luger. When she isn’t working she enjoys all things fitness, traveling and working on home-improvement projects.
Additional Information
I have found that the best client relationships are those that begin with a specific set of shared values. For me, that includes:
- You’re interested in developing a long-term relationship with someone who can be your trusted financial thinking partner through all of life’s challenges and successes.
- You desire to proactively and holistically manage your money and set an intentional plan in place for your future.
- You believe in principled, long-term investing and not market timing. I’m not someone who will give you hot new stock tips. We will set a plan, monitor it, and adjust it as necessary using an educated system that governs our decision-making process.
- You want to manage your financial life with the help of modern technology.
- You value expert advice and believe that successful financial planning requires effort, determination, and is a service that’s valuable enough to partner with a professional.
