Hi! I’m Alan Rhode, CFP®, CPWA®, CEPA®, RLP®, the Founder and CEO of Modern. Wealth.

I've accumulated over a decade of expertise as an active member of several professional institutions like the CFP Board, The Investment and Wealth Institute, The Exit Planning Institute, and the Kinder Institute of Life Planning. I’ve guided countless individuals, families, and businesses to their financial goals during my time at prestigious firms such as Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, and United Capital. My thoughts and insights have been shared and recognized in prominent publications and platforms like The New York Times, MarketWatch, Markets Insider, ABC, NBC, and Fox Business.

I’m a proud Penn State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. I’ve also completed my CFP education from the American College of Financial Services, the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® from Yale School of Management, the CEPA® credential from the Exit Planning Institute, and the Registered Life Planner designation from the Kinder Institute of Life Planning.

When I’m not helping people optimize their wealth or exit their business, you can find me auto-cross racing, enjoying Philadelphia sports, working out, relaxing on the beach, savoring a rare bourbon or a full-bodied Cabernet, or, most importantly, cherishing moments with my family and friends—they’re my world.
