John is passionate about helping current and aspiring DIY investors build wealth, achieve their financial goals, and gain confidence in their financial decisions. He offers hourly financial planning, with an initial comprehensive financial plan available for a flat fee of $3,420, which includes a full financial analysis, a 2-hour plan consultation, and a finalized PDF with tailored recommendations. For returning clients who need additional support, hourly financial planning is available at $270 per hour, billed in one-minute increments.

Additional Information

After earning a degree in History from the University of Florida, John joined the Together Planning team in 2019 as a financial planning assistant. He then earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation and completed a Master’s degree in Personal Financial Planning through Kansas State University in 2024.

In 2021, John left Together Planning to follow his wife to UNC-Chapel Hill. He gained valuable experience working at Vanguard and a small, fee-only financial planning firm in Durham, NC, before returning to Gainesville and rejoining Together Planning in 2024 as the Director of Financial Planning.

Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with friends and family, cheering on his Florida Gators, and hiking with his wife in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
