We uphold fiduciary oaths to act in the best interest of our clients.  We do not earn commissions. We respond rapidly to client inquiries. We are educators at heart, and will explain skillfully and patiently the reasons behind our recommendations.

Additional Information

Alvin is passionate about helping professionals in their 30s and 40s make smarter financial decisions. He is a Financial Planner and Managing Partner of District Capital Management, a new kind of financial planning and investment management firm for the everyday people. He is the recipient of the 2021 Financial Planning Association Diversity Scholarship.

Alvin holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation – the most respected and recognized investment designation in the world. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, and has a Masters degree in International Relations from SAIS-Johns Hopkins.

In his spare time, Alvin enjoys swing dancing and Ultimate Frisbee. He currently volunteers as Treasurer for the Lutheran Social Services, a non-profit that helps refugees and immigrants in the U.S.
