Tyler Engbrecht, CFP®, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Co-Founder of TruMix Advisors, a fee-only, fiduciary financial planning firm based in Bloomington, Minnesota, serving clients across the Twin Cities and beyond.
Tyler discovered his calling in 2006 and has spent nearly two decades helping individuals and families navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and confidence. He specializes in comprehensive financial planning for high-income professionals — including orthopedic surgeons, physicians, and other specialists — as well as small business owners who need a trusted advisor to help them align their wealth with their values and long-term goals.
His approach with every client can be summed up in two words: collaborative and caring.
As a fee-only fiduciary, Tyler is legally and ethically obligated to act in his clients' best interests — never earning commissions, never selling products. At TruMix Advisors, this commitment to transparency is foundational to everything the firm does.
Outside of the office, Tyler is a proud husband to Melissa and father to his two sons, Carter and Logan. He coaches his boys' sports teams, enjoys running and hiking, and is committed to mentoring youth in his community.
