I began my financial career working as a bank teller during spring breaks and summers while at college. Always strong with numbers, this role introduced me to the importance of developing trusting relationships and delivering superior client service. I have put these skills to work for both institutional and private offices, advising clients and constructing investment portfolios for the past 10 years.

In 2014, I formed Everlong Financial in Austin, Texas. My goal was to create a financial planning practice that integrates my investment experience with technology of today. I strongly believes that everyone can benefit from having a formal financial plan in place. As a young professional, I know this is especially true for those just growing into their careers and wealth.

In 2009, I married my wife Elizabeth in the mountain town of Asheville, North Carolina. Together, we enjoy taking our dog Wrigley to the park and walking the trail around Lady Bird Lake. I am an avid runner and I challenge myself to run 100 miles in the heat of July each year. Living in the "Live Music Capital of the World," I enjoy live music and searching for vinyl LPs to broaden my music collection.

Additional Information

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Psychology. I obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in June 2009.

In addition to my association as a NAPFA member, I am also a proud member of the XY Planning Network and the Financial Planning Association.
