Investment Advice with Ongoing Management:
I provide ongoing investment management designed to support your long-term goals, not short-term market predictions. As your life changes, I adjust your portfolio to help keep it aligned with your priorities, comfort with risk, and financial objectives.
Retirement Planning & Distribution Rules:
I help clients plan for retirement with clarity and confidence, including when and how to draw income from retirement accounts. This includes guidance on Social Security, required minimum distributions (RMDs), and tax-efficient withdrawal strategies designed to make retirement income more predictable.
Tax Planning:
Tax planning is an ongoing part of my approach, not a once-a-year exercise. I work to coordinate investment decisions, retirement income, and savings strategies with the goal of reducing unnecessary taxes and helping clients keep more of what they earn.
Serving Baby Boomers:
I frequently work with Baby Boomers approaching or already in retirement. My focus is on helping clients transition from saving to spending, manage healthcare and Medicare considerations, and create plans that support both lifestyle goals and peace of mind.
High-Net-Worth Planning:
For clients with significant assets, I provide comprehensive planning that coordinates investments, tax strategy, and estate considerations. My goal is to help preserve wealth, simplify decision-making, and create a clear plan for today and future generations.
Assets Under Management (AUM):
I work with clients on an ongoing, assets-under-management basis, where my compensation is directly tied to the assets I manage for you. This structure allows me to focus on long-term planning, disciplined investment management, and client alignment.
Additional Information
I am a NAPFA member because I believe financial advice should always be objective, transparent, and delivered in the client’s best interest. NAPFA’s fee-only fiduciary standard aligns with my commitment to providing conflict-free guidance and evidence-based financial planning. The organization’s emphasis on professional excellence, continuing education, and accountability supports my goal of helping clients make confident financial decisions and stay focused on what they can control over the long term.
I graduated in 2017 from The University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Financial Planning and Services. While at the University of Akron, I served as Vice President of the Financial Planning Association, where I developed a strong foundation in fiduciary-focused planning and professional leadership.
I continued my education by becoming an Enrolled Agent with the IRS in 2018 and earned my Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) designations in 2019. I have also passed the Series 7 and Series 65 exams, hold Ohio insurance licenses for Life and Health, and am commissioned as an Ohio notary.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Rose, and our three children, Amara, Kai, and Jensen. I value an active lifestyle and spend much of my free time at the gym or outdoors, hiking and mountain biking.
