Cathy Curtis specializes in the unique needs of women experiencing a transition of some kind, such as widowhood, a divorce, or receiving an inheritance. Services include ongoing investment management and holistic financial planning. Holistic or comprehensive planning looks at all aspects of a person's finances, including but not limited to cash flow, goal setting, taxes, estate planning, employee benefits, retirement planning, and insurance needs.

In addition to running her firm and working with clients, Cathy is a frequent public speaker on topics such as working with women clients and social media marketing. She is a member of the CNBC Digital Financial Council - a group of financial advisors around the U.S. dedicated to financial literacy. Cathy is on Investopedia's top 100 list of the most influential advisors. She started a podcast called Financial Finesse and taught Personal Finance courses at Mills College in Oakland.
