Tom is passionate about developing meaningful connections with his clients as he partners with them to achieve their values driven financial and life goals. He has been interested in personal finance and investments since the early 1990's when he opened his first IRA with savings from his summer jobs. Since then and prior to joining EP Wealth Advisors in 2018, Tom has had a successful career in financial services as a financial consultant with T. Rowe Price and most recently as a quantitative analyst for the American Funds. Tom was born in Vietnam and immigrated with his family to Southern California when he was 4 years old. Having been a part of his family's journey from humble beginnings to now living the American Dream, Tom appreciates the value of a dollar while fully recognizing that money can't buy happiness. He graduated magna cum laude (Phi Beta Kappa) from the University of California, Irvine with a bachelor's degree in Economics. Within the community, Tom has previously served as President of the Board for Pathways LA and currently serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Friendship Foundation. Tom lives in Palos Verdes with his wife and two young boys whose boundless energy keeps mom and dad always on the move.
