Hi! I’m Logan Murray, a financial planner and tax preparer for Pocket Project.

Professionally, I am a graduate of Widener University with a degree in financial planning and a minor in accounting. I began my career in financial planning in Philadelphia, PA. In the course of my career, I have received designations of Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®), Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) and have become an Enrolled Agent (EA) with the IRS. I also actively volunteer with a service called Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), which is a program administered by the IRS to prepare taxes for low-income individuals. The best part of my job is building relationships with my clients through financial and tax planning, and demonstrating how a little bit of planning can go a long way. One of the "Projects" in which this company was founded is to expand my efforts to give access and education of financial planning to those who need it..

Personally, beyond my love for financial planning and taxes, I spend my free time outdoors exploring Arizona and the surrounding states via backpacking, hiking, camping, and the like. The Superstition Mountains are my most frequented hikes, aside from the summer months when I go north to Payson or Flagstaff. I look forward to exploring more of the United States with my National Parks Pass. I actively participate in a book club and love spending time with my girlfriend and our cats..
