Entree Wealth
Entree Wealth is an independent, fee-only financial planning practice based in Boulder, Colorado. The firm specializes in working with entrepreneurs and individuals charting an intentional path—whether that means building a business, pursuing financial independence, or planning an extended sabbatical.
The firm’s founder, David Gardner, CFP®, EA, has been a fee-only financial planner for more than two decades and became a NAPFA Registered Financial Advisor in 2004. After initially founding his own firm, he later merged it with another advisor, which ultimately became part of one of the largest independent wealth management firms in the country. In 2025, he returned to his roots by launching Entree Wealth, a boutique practice designed to serve a deliberately small number of clients.
David integrates investment and tax planning to help clients make thoughtful, efficient use of their resources. He has taught retirement planning as an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado Boulder and writes a regular personal finance column for the Boulder Daily Camera and other local publications. He also leads the investment committee of the Boulder Valley Rotary Community Foundation.
His work focuses on aligning financial decisions with what matters most—whether that’s achieving financial independence, designing a meaningful period away from work, or navigating the complexities of entrepreneurship.
