For nearly 30 years, Marcia Mantell has helped the country's foremost financial services firms and advisors increase their knowledge of complex retirement concepts and regulations. She has a remarkable ability to translate those concepts into everyday language. She was named an IA25 Honoree by ThinkAdvisor in 2021—one of the “advisors, experts, and leaders in financial services who are pushing the industry forward.”

She is the founder of Mantell Retirement Consulting, Inc. (est. 2005), a business and education consultancy. She frequently presents realistic, straightforward, and down-to-earth information about today’s retirement saving and income challenges at conferences and events, live and online.

Mantell is the author of two books for women, a long-time blogger at BoomerRetirementBriefs.com., and frequently contributes to many podcasts and e-publications, including NAPFA Advisor Magazine. She’s married to her college sweetheart, the mom of two amazing millennial daughters, and still works every day to find some kind of balance.

As an active member of the Investments & Wealth Institute, Mantell sits on the curriculum committee and teaches Social Security and Medicare. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Rochester (NY) and holds the Retirement Management Advisor (RMA®) designation, and the National Social Security Advisor (NSSA®) certification.
