Iwona Hill
As a regional director, Iwona Hill educates advisors on capital market research and Dimensional’s investment strategies. She consults advisors on a wide range of issues including portfolio design and construction, practice management issues, and client communications.
Prior to joining the Financial Advisor Services group, Iwona was a portfolio manager at Dimensional for US- and Canada-based global equity portfolios, including core strategies, small and small value, and strategies with social and sustainability overlays, across DFA mutual funds, institutional accounts and individual tax-managed portfolios. She was responsible for all aspects of portfolio management activities, including implementing fund strategies, order generation, managing daily cash flows, foreign currency management and trading, hedging foreign currency exposure, and post-trade monitoring and performance attribution analysis.
Iwona joined the Santa Monica office in 2006 and moved to Austin in 2007. Prior to joining Dimensional, Iwona spent five years as a portfolio manager for Montecito Bank & Trust in Santa Barbara and was involved with strategy at AIG. Previously, she was an investment analyst with PlanMember Financial.
A CFA Charterholder since 2002, Iwona earned her MBA from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2006, and a BA in economics and business from Whittier College in 1999.
