From successful entrepreneur to jack-of-all-trades strategic consultant, Gretchen Halpin’s career path and journey to success have been guided by one true passion: to help people create the life they want, even when that means challenging the status quo. "Understanding what is most important to our clients and communicating the value we can provide as a firm is my highest priority." It’s a passion that she brings to all aspects of her personal and professional life, and one that is at the heart of her role as Chief Strategy Officer with Hewins Financial Advisors. A visionary with vast, multifaceted leadership experience, Gretchen pioneers the firm’s strategy across every aspect of the business — from marketing and communications to business development and client service — to help ensure that all decisions and initiatives are aligned with the Hewins Financial mission. Her influence also extends beyond the organization itself — specifically, she specializes in forging new working relationships and alliances with key centers of influence (COIs) to better position the firm as a thought leader within the financial services space.
Every day, Gretchen works collaboratively with Hewins' leadership to seize new business opportunities, drive organizational change and translate the firm’s strategy across all levels of the business. But her ability to morph big-picture ideas into action and results goes beyond her role at Hewins Financial; it derives from her experience as the driving force behind several successful business ventures, including Soothe Your Senses, an organic aromatherapy product line that she launched in 2001. What started as a passion for health and wellness expanded into an international spa brand — with retail distribution in 30 U.S. states and five countries — that grew 250-percent annually for eight years.
Now, Gretchen brings her passion, vision and more than 20 years of rich experience to help grow the Hewins Financial mission — and to help ensure that Hewins' strategic initiatives and corporate goals can ultimately help clients plan for the financial life they want.
