Life Planning Partners, Inc. is a nationally known boutique fee only financial planning firm located in Jacksonville, Florida. We are looking for a financial planning associate.

Our ideal candidate would have the following characteristics:

• They have their CFP® designation and have basic experience working directly with clients.

• They have excellent oral communication and writing skills.

• They have good attention to detail but don’t get bogged down in the weeds.

• They like a mix of computer-based work along with client facing work.

• They appreciate a fun team environment and small company atmosphere.

• They love learning and value constructive feedback.

• They are comfortable with using social media and public speaking.

• They are willing to live and work in the beautiful city of Jacksonville, Florida.

What you will be doing:

• You will be trained how to use eMoney to create cash flow projections and estate reviews. You will also learn and provide tax planning for our clients.

• You will work with clients to gather data needed to create their reviews.

• You will help clients implement tasks that result from the reviews.

• Our team works closely to keep us aligned with how the clients are doing, what is being done for clients, and how to manage the workflow through weekly meetings and ongoing check-ins.

• You will actively participate in client meetings and be responsible for presenting your work, taking notes and following up on tasks.

• As you grow in the position, you will be responsible for higher level problem solving and managing client relationships.

• You will help spread the word about the beauty of good financial planning.

Starting salary is $100,000 to $130,000 based on education and experience with opportunities for quick growth. Our compensation plan clearly spells out income, growth, and bonus opportunities. We also have a long-term incentive stock plan. Other benefits include 100% employer paid health insurance, four weeks of vacation, and one-week continuing education with a budget for continuing education. Matching retirement plan contributions begin after two years employment. Dress code is super casual on days we do not have client meetings in the office. Relocation assistance is available.
