Manager of Business Development & Marketing
A fast-growing SEC registered investment advisory (RIA) firm in Pleasanton, CA is seeking to add an experienced business development manager to join our dynamic team. The firm provides comprehensive wealth management services to small business owners and professionals with equity compensations. The ideal candidate will explore opportunities, and execute a highly sophisticated, multi-dimensional marketing process to build relationships with the targeted clientele. The manager shall be equally proficient with day- to- day marketing activities and long-term strategies to maintain existing clients’ relations.
Responsibilities:
• Follow up leads from multidimensional process to schedule an initial financial consultation with primary advisors
• Network with Center of Influence and professional organizations to establish client referral channels
• Conduct outreach activities to promote the company’s awareness in the community
• Organize client’ events to enhance relations with existing clients
• Establish positioning, identify target clientele, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
• Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
• Maintain CRM software and explore opportunities to improve business closing ratio
• Utilize internal resources to define social media marketing strategies, engage conversations, and covert potential prospects into clients
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated strong Sales, Presentation, Negotiation and Closing skills
• A self-starter who can work independently, with minimal supervision and have the ability to take initiative and create solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management skills, organized, efficient, reliable, & eager to learn
• Highly Motivated and willingness to take extra miles to close deals
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Minimum three (3) year business development & marketing experience in financial sale/services industry.
• College degree with Business Administration, Finance or Marketing is required
Compensation: competitive base salary plus revenue sharing payout
