A fast-growing SEC registered investment advisory (RIA) firm in Pleasanton, CA is seeking to add an experienced 401k Plan Advisor to join our dynamic team. The firm provides tax advantaged retirement planning to small business owners. The successful candidate will manage and execute a highly sophisticated, multi-dimensional sales process in the defined contributions market, primarily focusing on 401k retirement plans. The advisor will provide 401k investment strategies, continued participant education and fiduciary support to corporate clients in 401k arena.


Responsibilities:


• Utilize the database to define and develop prospects from proactive phone calls, emails, office visits and other marketing efforts

• Cultivate and strengthen business relationships with business owners, human resource managers and c-level executives to close new retirement plan deals

• Partner with advisors to present investment and retirement plan solutions and capabilities

• Prepare/Review paperwork of 401k plan conversion process

• Present financial workshops to plan participants and assist them in retirement saving strategies

• Conduct 401k plan review meetings with plan sponsors. Identify and resolve clients’ concerns about plan design, investment options and services

• Develop methods and procedures to increase sales, expand markets and promote business cross selling for both wealth management services and corporate retirement planning

• Network with Center of Influence and professional organizations to establish client referral channels


Qualifications:

• Demonstrated strong Sales, Presentation and Negotiation skills

• A self-starter who can work independently, with minimal supervision and have the ability to take initiative and create solutions

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong time management skills, organized, efficient, reliable, & eager to learn

• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

• Minimum three (3) year experience in human resource and financial sale/services industry, familiar with different retirement plan solutions and employee benefits

• College degree with Retirement Certifications/licenses, such as CRPS, CPFA, CFP, CIMA, is preferred

• Highly motivated and willingness to travel (mostly in Bay Area)


Compensation: competitive base salary plus revenue sharing payout
