Lead Advisors are the primary stewards of the lifeblood of TFA—our client relationships—and act in a role that is crucial to the ongoing success of our company. They are ambassadors of our Core Values and masters of the Intentional Planning System. The primary point of contact for each of the firm’s clients, Lead Advisors are responsible for coalescing the team’s recommendations in the design phase of our planning and spearheading its deployment.


Lead Advisors maintain the client contact calendar proactively and lead periodic reviews, overseeing modular client planning. They are the go-to person for incoming client requests and questions. As they progress through the levels of the position, Lead Advisors discover and develop a specialization within the practice of financial planning that represents a personal passion or proclivity, also growing in their ability to inspire referrals from our ideal clients and develop new business.


Job Description:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the TFA clients assigned to you, acting as a fiduciary and the foremost client advocate at all times. Develop and maintain technical mastery of all TFA financial planning and investment software tools. Lead all financial planning and review meetings for your assigned clients. Provide assistance and support to other members of your team as needed. Recognize the limitations of your knowledge and skills, asking for assistance from team and firm members when necessary. Evaluate ways to deepen relationships with existing clients and their families. Proactively communicate with clients between review meetings to gauge their satisfaction and discuss any current needs or concerns, especially during times of market volatility and life transition. Review client tax returns and estate planning documents to identify planning opportunities. Serve as an ambassador for TFA in the local community by presenting yourself in a responsible and professional manner at all times. Exhibit respect and professionalism at all times when interacting with clients and employees. Enhance your financial planning knowledge and maintain CE requirements through involvement with NAPFA and attendance at relevant webinars and conferences recommended by TFA. Discover and develop a specialization within the practice of financial planning that represents a personal passion or proclivity.


Qualifications:

• Organized, self-motivated, with initiative and desire to succeed Ability to be discreet and maintain confidential information at all times Professional verbal and written communication skills Comfortable working in a professional office environment At least five years’ experience working in the financial planning industry CFP® required; Other advanced designations preferred i.e., CPA, CFA, CIMA, CPWA Bachelor’s degree required Familiarization with financial concepts, investment products, portfolio analysis, goal setting, and cash flow Experience with Money Guide Pro, Redtail CRM system, Morningstar, Holistiplan, and Microsoft Office a plus Share our passion for excellence, positive attitude, and genuine care for others.
