ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION: Fee Only certified financial planning organization providing customized personal financial services for individuals and businesses. Services include designing and managing investment portfolios, retirement, college education, estate, insurance and tax planning. Our office utilizes state of the art hardware and software technology to manage our clients’ portfolios and conduct daily office operations.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Duties:
The successful candidate will be part of an over-all team approach to providing services to clients. Responsibilities will include:
• Analyze and evaluate the clients’ current financial status
• Assist in the development of complex and highly customized financial portfolios for high net-worth individuals utilizing passive & active management analysis
• Implement portfolio recommendations
• Assist in ongoing portfolio management, including rebalancing and asset allocation monitoring
• Construct financial projections models based on client current situation and apply what if scenarios including Monte Carlo and other statistical techniques
• Generate client meeting presentation reports
• Participate in client meetings with lead advisor to develop client skills and experience
• Lead meetings with clients and prospects
• Manage current and new client relationships, as well as reviewing and discussing financial strategies to meet client goals
• Work as part of the team to support and implement wealth management strategies for clients
• Build and maintain client relationships
• Solve complicated financial planning, estate, tax and retirement issues
• Work with client support team to provide an exceptional client experience
• Work with clients to ensure action items are thoroughly executed and documented
• Gather client data including financial constraints and goals
• Manage account administration, cashiering, and forms for assigned clients
• Understand the role of a fiduciary and that clients come first
• Keep abreast of the latest events in the financial markets
• Proactively recognize client issues, propose solutions, and add insight to analysis
• Prepare long-term capital sufficiency analyses based on personal financial goals, current financial data, tax rates, and inflation and investment assumptions
• Convey a professional and courteous demeanor
• Demonstrate excellent organization and time management skills
• Provide excellent follow-through and attention to detail
• Show ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Express excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possess ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate computer literacy and competency in utilizing software applications
• Exhibit proficiency in using Planning software (e.g., NaviPlan, Money Guide Pro)
• Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
In addition to holding the CFP® certification, the successful candidate will have a professional, positive attitude. He/she will be resourceful, diligent, independent, responsible, able to take direction, possess strong organization, and communication skills. Applicant must be fluent and capable managing electronic files and images in a fast-paced Microsoft Windows environment. He/she must be comfortable multi-tasking in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook – and have an aptitude for quickly learning industry/office specific software programs. In addition, the successful candidate will be comfortable in a supporting role as an important member of the firm’s team, have strong attention to detail, and a desire to learn.
Requirements
• CFP® certification required
• BA/BS degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience with an investment consulting/management firm, family office, or RIA
• Experience and proficiency with CRM, financial planning software, portfolio accounting software, trading and custodian platforms (e.g., Fidelity and Schwab)
• Organized and detail oriented while managing and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Analytical and logical thinker along with exceptional interpersonal skills
• Must be a dynamic and flexible team player
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination or negative COVID-19 Test Results is required
