OPEN JOB POSITION: Full-time 40 hours per week

Alexander Financial Planning, Inc., located in Grandview Hts., Ohio, is an established independent fee-only Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) providing financial life planning and investment management services to individuals and families since 1997. SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a dedicated team member who will support our fiduciary driven approach to financial planning, help us improve our client experience, and is enthusiastic about helping people strive for financial independence. This is a professional level position that will be responsible for assisting to leading our financial planning process. As a dedicated team member working at the company office location, this individual will participate actively in staff meetings, in communication with our clients, and other interested parties. The position requires a mature, energetic, hardworking, skilled, and personable individual. An individual who can grow with our organization, make a difference in the lives of our clients, and reach their personal goals.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Initially, to serve as primary support to the lead advisor with the intention to become a lead advisor

- Prepare all materials for meetings when on-boarding new clients and completing annual updates for regular clients for lead advisor review.

- On-board new clients and maintain client account connections with financial planning programs.

- Use software programs, update retirement projections for financial plans, model optimal client solutions (eMoney & Right Capital) and update tax planning (Holistiplan) for lead advisor review.

- Update information and enter tasks into CRM system (Redtail) after client meetings.

- Engage in all financial planning meetings with lead advisor. Assisting with taking notes and being an active participant in client meetings. Work with lead planner to complete follow-up tasks from client meetings.

- Assist with updating workflows to improve efficiency and enhance the client’s experience.

- Research client-specific issues and communicate conclusions clearly with lead advisor.

- Assist with ad hoc client needs and investment management process.


QUALIFICATIONS:

- Education – B.A. or B.S. from accredited four-year university.

- Working towards or holding CFP® Designation

- Experience in or a desire to learn the human side of financial planning

- Team player who is flexible, collaborative, responsive and proactive

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent project management skills with ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks

- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability

- Thoroughness, cautiousness and attention to detail

- Takes initiative to research and resolve issues

- Proficiency with MS Office Suite

- Ability to learn software programs and knowledge of eMoney, Right Capital, and Redtail CRM is a plus

- Experience in the field desirable, not required
