Wealth Planning Specialist / Paraplanner

WHO WE WANT:
The Wealth Planning Specialist works in conjunction with the firm’s Financial Advisors and is responsible for the development and maintenance of Comprehensive Financial Plans. This individual focuses on client needs in the areas of cash flow analysis, retirement planning, estate planning, and tax planning. WHAT TO EXPECT:
• Manages the digital data gathering process, financial plan development, and scenario analysis for new and current clients
• Demonstrates the Wealth Planning Software to prospective clients
• Assists clients in aggregating their accounts into the financial planning software
• Leads pre-client review meeting activities
• As directed, participate in client review meetings, and assist with follow-up tasks
• Manages clients’ individual financial planning portals to ensure current and accurate data
• Learn and become proficient in the firm’s Performance Reporting and Customer Relationship Management software
• Remain educated on tax and estate planning changes and opportunities
• Develops a close long-term relationship with financial planning clients to understand their current circumstances and future needs
• Continually looks for ways to improve the financial planning process by developing and maintaining systems and workflows related to the financial planning process
• Performs any other duties and special projects as assigned
WHAT YOU NEED:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or similar field of study.
• Minimum of three years of financial planning, wealth management, or public accounting experience. Ideally, two to three years of experience in a financial planning firm.
• Professional designation such as Certified Financial Planner™ or CPA® highly desirable or a willingness to obtain or currently working towards

Salary is commensurate with experience
