Full-time Financial Planner

Seeking a Full-Time Certified Financial Planner. Fox & Co Wealth Management is providing an exciting opportunity for a positive, enthusiastic candidate to build a significant role in a well-established fee-only financial planning firm. This is full time and the candidate will work remotely.

Fox & Company Wealth Management is a comprehensive fee-only financial planning firm in Mayfield, KY. We focus on every major aspect of the client’s financial life. Our fiduciary approach focuses on one question: What is in the best interest of the client?

FWM primarily serves medical professionals and their families, all of whom work remotely with us and are currently located across the nation. We are members of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and the Financial Planning Association (FPA).

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience, be licensed as a CFP(R) or be a CFP(R) candidate, and hold a Series 65 or equivalent. We are seeking a person eager to learn and develop expertise in new subjects and with a passion for fee-only financial planning.

Initial training period lasts approx. 6 mos. All team members are mentored and taught one-on-one; we understand that you will be better teammates and planners if you are taught to crawl first, then walk, before we ask you to run. We encourage and support professional advancement within our firm.

Responsibilities include both basic and advanced levels of client-facing meetings and support for a comprehensive financial planning practice. The candidate must have the ability and initiative to work independently and possess excellent written and communication skills. Team members are NOT expected to recruit new clients, as we typically keep a waiting list.

Our sister CPA firm handles tax planning and preparation for clients, but being licensed as a CPA/EA or studying to become a CPA or EA would be a bonus.

Student loan experience or a willingness to attain the CSLP (Certified Student Loan Professional) designation (we pay expenses) would also be a bonus.

Salary of $50,000 to $70,000 based upon experience

We hope to hire and begin training our new team member as soon as we find the ideal candidate. We will reimburse for travel expenses for the initial one week of on-site training and an annual visit to our offices located in Mayfield, KY.
