Luesink Stenstrom Financial provides Financial Planning and Investment Advisory services. Anja Luesink and Clare Stenstrom are CFP® practitioners and follow a holistic life planning approach. We specialize in women and money, financial transitions and global financial planning.
Position Overview
We are a small financial planning and investment management company. This position is for para-planning duties supporting the Financial Planners. You will assist in all aspects of the work in a wealth management Firm. In this position you will utilize your skills in Financial Planning, Investment Management and working with clients. You need critical thinking skills, work within a team, and anticipate firm needs and client questions. We hope you are interested in getting acquainted with Financial Transition Management and Global Financial Planning.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
Administrative:
- Overseeing the creation of monthly portfolio reports and sending them out
- Sending out client newsletter by email
- Working with our custodian
- Manage Virtual Administrative assistance team: checking their work;
Financial Planning
- Input in Financial Planning Software – Money Guide Pro
- Preparing financial analyses for clients, including retirement analysis, estate planning, education funding, stock options, and risk management analyses
- Prepare Client meeting materials
- All aspects of pre-client meeting activities such as preparation of meeting agendas, client paperwork, Investment Policy statements, asset allocations as well as post-client follow-up meeting tasks
- Meeting notes, perform financial situation analysis and coordinate planning implementation with outside professionals
- Research information to resolve client issues.
- Prepare written plan for presenting to client
Qualifications:
- College Degree Preferred
- CFP® designation.
- Experience 3-5 years as paraplanner including creating financial plans independently
- Working knowledge of a CRM system.
- Excellent computer skills including MS Excel, Word and internet navigation
- Proficiency in financial planning software, Money Guide Pro if possible.
- Computer savvy, ability to utilize and maximize the provided software applications. Must have the ability to self-train on new software, as required.

Salary and Hours
Work hours are flexible, at least 20 hours
Salary will be hourly, based on number of hours worked and commensurate with experience.
This job can develop in a full-time position.
