Investment Operations Coordinator
We are seeking a professional, responsible person to support a busy office of financial planning staff and our firm's investment committee.
The primary role of the Investment Operations Coordinator is to manage the transactional duties related to the firm’s investment management including:
• Open and maintain client accounts
• Place trades
• Facilitate and process transactions like deposits, withdrawals, and transfers
• Prepare and print investment performance reports
• Prepare account maintenance paperwork such as beneficiary forms, retitling accounts, etc.
As a small, flexible firm we have the ability to customize some of the job functions to make the best use of your talents and interests. Additional roles and responsibilities could include, but are not limited to, assisting with the technology needs of the firm, administrative support, paraplanning functions and/or assisting with clients and client related questions.
Preferred Experience/Qualifications
• Work experience in financial services or related field
• Customer-service related experience
• Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
• Financial experience and/or acumen
• Superior problem-solving abilities
• Personal responsibility and accountability
• Experience with Microsoft suite/particularly Excel
Though not required, the ideal candidate will have experience working with Charles Schwab as an institutional custodian and/or Portfolio Center investment management software.
