Paraplanner
Seeking a Full-Time Local or Virtual Paraplanner. Fox & Co Wealth Management has an exciting opportunity for a positive, enthusiastic candidate to build a significant role in our well-established fee-only financial planning firm. This position is full time and ideal for a professional who enjoys working remotely from home with a flexible schedule.
Fox & Co is a female-owned practice and shares offices in Mayfield, KY with our sister firm, Fox & Co CPAs. We specialize in flat-fee (no AUM) remote financial planning and wealth-management relationships with medical professionals throughout the US. Our fiduciary approach focuses on one question: What is in the best interest of the client?

Responsibilities include both basic and advanced levels of paraprofessional support for financial planning practice activities and gradually interacting with clients. We expect you to have the ability and initiative to work independently and to plan for professional advancement within the firm.
- Assist lead Financial Planners in preparing for client meetings and post-client meeting tasks such as generating and executing action items and following up until complete
- Delegate, coordinate and track administrative tasks (including client paperwork and generating Investment Policy Statements) to be completed by Administrative Support
- Conducting and assisting with research and compiling data for background work that supports the development of client recommendations and office operations
- Learning and using software for planning, income tax projections, portfolio and investment analysis, and other financial planning applications
- Taking initiative on major long-term projects, such as documenting systems and workflows
- Maintaining a cordial and professional demeanor in all client and team interactions
- Responding to client communications in a clear and professional manner
Expertise in tax and/or student loan matters would be especially beneficial.
Minimum requirements
- Progressing toward receiving the Certified Financial Planner™ designation or pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Planning, Accounting or Business with a minimum of 2 years’ study
- Have strong analytical and financial skills and be detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Be able to manage and prioritize tasks and projects through to their successful conclusion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be trustworthy, ethical, hard-working, and professional
