Financial Advisor
Moneta is searching for a Advisor to join a Partner Team in our Denver, CO office. The Advisor will work closely with the Partner and other colleagues on the team to learn and advise on all aspects of the Family CFO business. This Advisor will provide the appropriate advice for clients on issues ranging from investment strategies, retirement planning, education planning, tax planning strategies, risk management planning, estate and philanthropic planning, and more.
Our Advisors are expected to prepare, participate, and lead client review meetings, as well as work with prospective new clients from the fact-finding phase through financial action planning presentation and implementation of recommendations. In all client interactions our Advisors need to focus on the 'Why' for Moneta, which is “To empower people to navigate life’s path and protect what they cherish”.

They should be be comfortable creating financial plans and cross checking work to ensure complete accuracy of information.
Job Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Partner to learn all aspects of Family CFO business.
Build deep, lasting relationships with clients and prospects.
Participate in client and prospect meetings including first interviews, confidential fact-finding, financial action plans, implementation meetings, and reviews.
Prepare and/or review financial action plans put together by team members.
Identify and incorporate value-added analysis.
Work with Partner to facilitate services for client including investment management, retirement planning, education planning, tax and accounting services, insurance planning, banking and cash management, business planning, estate planning and philanthropic strategies.
Commit to ongoing education to remain an authority in family CFO matters.
Develop new client relationships through networking and referrals.
Cross train and support team as needed with client Service Manager duties, including but not limited to post-meeting task completion, review preparation, and incoming transfer follow-up
Keep Partner informed on team and client issues.
Travel as necessary to meet with clients.
Ensure 'Why' of Moneta is incorporated into the duties and responsibilities of the role.
Qualifications:
CFP or CPA preferred
Minimum of five years working as a client service advisor
Ability to interact well with clients and team members
Familiarity with general investment offerings and portfolio strategies
Strong analytical skills
Tax expertise preferred (CPA or EA)
JD with estate planning experience a plus
Compensation:
Salary: $85,000 to $120,000 base salary
Annual discretionary team bonus averaging 5% of annual base salary
Variable compensation available based revenue generated from your business development efforts
401(k) match of 50% up to 6% contribution, eligibility begins after the first full year of employment
