Our fiduciary fee-only firm is growing, and we're looking for a Financial Planning Analyst.

The analyst will:

  • Work in a collaborative team environment on a single book of business
  • Uphold the highest fiduciary and ethical standards
  • Present information in an engaging, organized fashion
  • Assimilate and present client data to colleagues well in advance of client meetings
  • Research special topics such as investment analysis, small business retirement options, tax strategies, new technologies, etc.
  • Own and manage follow up actions for clients
  • Enter and update key data into software (tax planning, financial planning, CRM)
  • Help create checklists to systematize work processes
  • Be encouraged to develop personal financial skills and specialties

Key qualifications:

  • Ability to study for and pass the Series 65 exam for investment professionals
  • Interest in the CFP® career path
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to quickly learn new software as needed, including our core programs: TDAmeritrade Institutional (investments), Redtail CRM (client relationship management database), Envestnet | Tamarac AdvisorView (portfolio management), Morningstar Office (portfolio management), MoneyGuidePro (financial planning), basic tax planning software
  • Ability to get along with a diverse group of employees and clients.
