Financial Planner

Established in 1986, Pinney & Scofield, Inc. is a fee-only, independent investment advisory firm. Our target market is middle-class families, with investable assets of one to five million. We offer financial planning and portfolio management as a combined service and do not do stand-alone financial planning.

We are seeking an experienced financial planner who can come in and be an immediate help with our financial plans. Initially, this individual would have no marketing responsibilities and no investment responsibilities, nor be the lead relationship manager, though it could certainly move in that direction. It is expected that this person will become familiar with all aspects of the business including administrative tasks such as opening new accounts. We are a small firm so this individual must be willing to take on other duties when needed.

The candidate should possess the following skill set:

• CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™

• The highest degree of integrity and ethical standards

• Ability to work in a small office environment

• Be independently motivated, have excellent communication skills and have a strong work ethic.

• Must be detailed oriented, organized, flexible, multi-task oriented, and a fast learner.

• Strong educational credentials and analytical background.

• Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
