We are representing a fee-only firm in Portland, OR that is seeking an Associate Financial Planner to join their team. RESPONSIBILITIES WE’LL TRUST YOU WITH

Support the full spectrum financial life planning services by preparing for client meetings, participating in client meetings alongside Lead Advisor, and completing follow up tasks in collaboration with Paraplanner. Craft financial plans for clients and implement Annual Client Service Calendar to ensure ongoing planning needs are proactively met. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a high standard of client service by opening and maintaining accounts, answering client questions, and coordinating needs with outside advisors. This role requires a desire to improve efficiencies, develop workflows, prioritize needs with urgency, and create ease for team members and clients. This is a fast-growing start-up environment requiring comfort with change and ambiguity, and excitement for the opportunity to be included in most business decisions shaping the future of the firm.


QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors’ degree from an accredited university; major in financial planning preferred. You must be passionate about the financial planning profession and the social justice concerns of progressive clients. Experience with MoneyGuidePro or other financial planning software preferred. Personally driven to do good work & do it well. Strong moral compass with unwavering ethical standards. Desire to drive equitable outcomes. Respect for diverse traditions, heritages, and experiences.
