At Steigerwald, Gordon & Koch Inc. (SGK Wealth Advisors) we are a growing fee-only registered investment advisor with over $600 million of client assets under management. We are seeking a dynamic and outgoing financial planner who will work as part of the wealth management team in all aspects of marketing our company’s services as well as maintaining and strengthening relationships with clients. SGK Wealth Advisors is a member of Charles Schwab & Co.’s Advisor Network program and a new planner to the firm will be required to travel to various Schwab branches and work with new referred clients to our firm. We emphasize a high level of client service and responsiveness here at SGK.

You must be a self-starter and problem solver who is able to work effectively in a team environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Market SGK’s services to new referred prospects from existing clients, Schwab Advisor Network or other professionals.

• Enhance client relationships through the planning process, client meetings, and follow-up tasks. Client meetings can be at our office, Schwab offices and other client locations.

• Act as an independent consultant and liaison to estate attorneys, accountants, or insurance professionals for clients.

• Utilize state of the art technology to increase engagement in client meetings.

• Be responsive to client phone calls and emails.

Experience: 3+ years Financial Planning preferred

Education: A B.S. degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business is preferred and a completion of a CFP Board-Registered certification program.
