Woodward Financial Advisors is seeking a Portfolio Administrator to join our growing independent Wealth Management firm located in Chapel Hill, NC. Come become part of our team of hard-working, dedicated and fun-loving individuals!

Our Portfolio Administrator will make meaningful contributions to the firm immediately. This core role will be integral in leading our back-office functions and providing a high level of service to our internal client service teams as well as our end-clients.

How you will help clients:

• Manage the firm's investment performance reporting software.

• Serve as the go-to team member for anything related to custodial paperwork, including form preparation, obtaining client signatures, document submission and follow-up.

• Act as the firm’s primary trader, including both periodic rebalancing and ad hoc trading activities.

• Coordinate client portfolio rebalancing process and be responsible for maintaining internal portfolio documentation.

• Provide support for our client portal, which includes account aggregation and a document vault

• Maintain our records to ensure that clients take all required minimum distributions from retirement accounts.

• Serve as the firm's administrator for our managed 529 college savings accounts

• Assist with developing and refining internal work flow systems, including implementing adjustments to business processes in our client relationship management (CRM) software.

• Implement updates to the assumptions and settings in the firm's financial planning software.

• Stay up-to-date on best practices and recent developments in the back-office/operations side of the wealth management industry.

• Contribute to the firm’s culture of business development (e.g., writing blog posts, posting to social media, planning and attending client events, networking, etc.).

• Have a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
