HIGHLAND Financial Advisors, LLC, an independent, Fee-Only Registered Investment Advisor in Wayne, NJ, is seeking to expand its team with an Analyst. The team at HIGHLAND is made up of talented professionals who have a service mindset, a team first approach, and shared initiative and accountability. The Analyst will work with the Wealth Advisors and Investment and Financial Planning support teams to deliver a superior client experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Research various financial planning and investment topics and document all research for presentation to financial planning and investment policy committees.

• Preparation of financial planning and investment data in the areas of retirement planning, insurance, tax, estate, college planning, and investment performance to be reviewed in advance of client meetings.

• Contribute to weekly blog and written quarterly client communications.

• Participate in client meetings, record meeting notes for follow-up items, and input into CRM system.

• Coordinate new client onboarding and data collection processes, which will include opening accounts and coordinating account transfers.

• Collaborate with various team members to monitor and execute on-going service requests made by clients and act as a liaison between HIGHLAND and its custodian relationships.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability to build strong working relationships with clients and team

• A passion for helping clients achieve their goals

Qualifications for this position:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, MBA or Graduate Degree a plus

• Interest in obtaining CFP® or CFA® a plus

• Professional experience is a plus

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Proven ability to multi-task, problem solve, and manage deadlines

• Proven ability to complete work accurately and in a timely fashion
