Seeking a Full-Time Paraplanner. Fox & Co Wealth Management is providing an exciting opportunity for a positive, enthusiastic candidate to build a significant role in a well-established fee-only financial planning firm. This is full time and the candidate may or may not work remotely.

Fox & Company Wealth Management is a comprehensive fee-only financial planning firm in Mayfield, KY. We focus on every major aspect of the client’s financial life. Our fiduciary approach focuses on one question: What is in the best interest of the client?

FWM primarily serves medical professionals and their families. We are members of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors and the Financial Planning Association.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate an enthusiasm and interest in financial planning. He or she will possess strong organizational skills, robust computer skills and an entrepreneurial mindset that will help shape the business in becoming more efficient and successful. We are seeking a person eager to learn and develop expertise in new subjects. Studies toward the Certified Financial Planner™ designations or pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Planning, Accounting or Business with a minimum of 2 years’ study are preferred.

Responsibilities include both basic and advanced levels of paraprofessional support for a comprehensive financial planning practice. The position involves some interaction with clients. The candidate must have the ability and initiative to work independently. As the candidate’s skills grow, he or she can earn the opportunity for professional advancement within the firm.

Performance requirements include:

  • Assist lead Financial Planners in preparing for client meetings and post-client meeting tasks such as generating and executing action items and following up until complete.
  • Delegate, coordinate and track administrative tasks (including client paperwork and generating Investment Policy Statements) to be completed by Admin Support
  • Conducting and assisting with research and compiling data for background work that supports the development of client recommendations and office operations
  • Learning and using software for planning, income tax projections, portfolio and investment analysis, and other financial planning applications
  • Taking initiative on major long-term projects, such as documenting systems and workflows
  • Maintaining a cordial and professional demeanor in all client and team interactions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Responding to client communications in a clear and professional manner.
