Senior Financial Advisor
Wade Financial Advisory (www.wadefa.com) is seeking a Senior Financial Advisor for our fee-only financial planning and investment advisory firm in Campbell, CA. We are very interested in you if you desire a career in Wealth Management and are a CPA® or EA®. We help manage every aspect of our client’s financial life, partnering, educating, and guiding them throughout the process to help them make well-informed financial decisions. Following a detailed evaluation of their finances, we will work with them to identify and prioritize their goals and objectives to develop a customized financial plan and investment portfolio.
You might be a good fit for this position:
- You are currently working as a CPA or EA;
- You have the PFS® designation
- Compliance experience is a HUGE PLUS!
- You are looking to start working with financial planning clients ASAP
The successful candidate will work directly with the firm’s wealth advisors, including its senior partners, and will serve as a point person for all clients assigned to him/her. Candidate will prepare financial plans and reviews including: net worth statements, tax, cash flow and net worth projections, stock option exercise strategies, insurance review, education funding analysis, asset allocation analysis, investment proposals, estate planning, etc.

Qualifications:
- CPA OR EA and 2+ years’ experience preparing individual income tax returns, preferably working directly with clients AND;
- CFP licensee or candidate OR PFS certification
- 5 years Financial Planning or tax experience
- Ability to juggle multiple projects successfully
- Ability to learn new concepts and software packages quickly
- Be independently motivated, have excellent communication skills and have a strong work ethic
- Strong educational credentials and analytical background
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify, meet, and follow through with client’s needs and requirements
- Must interact effectively with office staff and be a goal-oriented team player
- Strong attention to detail
- Must demonstrate excellence in organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional phone and client service skills, positive and upbeat attitude at all times
Technical skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel®
- Experience with Redtail (or other CRM software), financial planning software, aggregation software, Tamarac Systems, Intuit, Lacerte and Microsoft Office tools a plus
