Mr. Crofton is a graduate of the Haas School of Business where he studied finance and accounting. He also holds a Certificate with Honors in Personal Financial Planning from the U.C. Berkeley Extension. He also teaches Personal Financial Planning and Accounting Courses at U.C. Berkeley.

After completing his MBA, earned the Enrolled Agent (EA) license from the Internal Revenue Service. He founded Adap Tax Financial with the aim of offering a full-service personal financial planning, investment and tax services. He and his team serve technology professionals with employer stock positions, financial and real property investors and small business owners.

He is a veteran of the Technology industry, so has both personal, first-hand experience with the tax and planning issues associated with employer stock compensation. An experienced options trader, he is also qualified to assist clients with concentrated stock positions.

He is an experienced real property owner and investor who can guide your choice of financial vs. real property investments.
