Personally, I am married to a 7th year corporate attorney at a big law firm with offices around the world. I have seen first-hand the need for financial planning and advice early-on in the career of high-income earners, before they may have the investment accounts required of a big bank. Issues such as paying off debt, buying a house, planning for major career changes, choices, and risks - I help people get ahead of this early on so that things are easier earlier. 

My professional background is in mutual fund and exchange-traded-fund (ETF) analysis. I spent 14 years working for asset managers that created these funds and I consulted with financial advisors on how they work and why/where/when to best use them. This meant that I developed an expertise on how to analyze funds and a strong knowledge of the various products out there in the marketplace. I will be designing my clients' investment portfolios in-house, rather than outsourcing that work, and will also help clients choose investment options for retirement plans they have at work, such as a 401(k) plan.
