Planning Specialties
My planning focus is on the issues that face people long before retirement, so that I can guide them to those longer-term goals on an easier path with fewer mistakes. I am a CFP® professional that is focused on clients' holistic picture so that all of the aspects of their financial lives work together, in concert. I have seen first-hand the need for financial planning and advice early-on in the career of high-income earners, before they may have the investment accounts that attract the attention of a big bank. Issues such as paying off debt, buying a house, planning for major career changes, choices, and risks - I help people get ahead of this early on so that things are easier earlier.
My professional background is in investment analysis and financial planning. I spent 14 years working for asset managers where my role was to educate financial advisors on our investment products, strategies, portfolio construction, industry trends, client engagement, and much more. This meant that I developed an expertise on how to analyze investment portfolios and a strong knowledge of the issues that investors face every day. In particular, I noted that the financial advisory community is aging, it is often not serving younger professionals, nor is it addressing the issues that those people face: accumulating wealth, family planning (children, houses, education, etc), and career optimization (retirement plans at work, opening businesses, changing jobs, promotions, etc). I established Concert Financial Planning to address these needs and to bring confidence and security to my contemporaries as it relates to their financial lives.
Additional Information
Concert Financial Planning is focused on helping BigLaw attorneys. By focusing on getting you on the right path early on, our intention is to help you achieve personal and professional goals with less risk of decisions that may slow or hinder your progress in the long-run. We are here to help you now, not just when you meet an investment account minimum.
You have a great career and are going to be wealthy because of the choices you've made in your educational and career paths. You are smart enough to do this on your own if you had the time and inclination to learn everything you need to learn, but you prefer to work with a trusted professional to help guide your decisions along the way. You want to feel more confident and secure in the process. If this describes you, then please get in touch.
