Additional Information

After earning a B.S. in Business Administration at the University of Richmond, Maggie led tour groups to the former Soviet Union. Subsequently, she earned her MBA from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA where she consulted with small businesses before returning to her Midwest roots to raise her family. She began her career in accounting in 2009 when her youngest son started kindergarten, and was able to strike a work-life balance preparing tax returns remotely. She also found the time to enroll in accounting classes which led to getting her CPA in 2013, and later her CFP® certification. Since then, she has been a tax consultant with an emphasis on Real Estate taxation. Recently, Maggie and her sister formed a property management company to manage a portfolio of mixed use properties.
