Ross founded Simaris Financial in 2019, a financial planning and investment management firm located in Austin, TX. He has helped people at every opportunity with their finances for years before that.

Ross was a software engineer for thirty years in the semiconductor industry. In that role he helped develop and deliver chips we all love to use but don’t know are there. Collaborating with worldwide teams, he verified designs would work the first time.

Ross believes strongly in giving back to the community as well as his profession. He is the Pro Bono Director of the FPA Austin chapter, giving back by partnering with community based organizations. He served as a Volunteer Leadership Team member at Foundation Communities providing IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) to Central Texas citizens for several years.

Ross & Kristin have a dog “pepper” and two adult children.
