Additional Information

Anandi is the principal advisor for the firm. Anandi has a MS in computer science from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY and a BE in electrical engineering from BITS, Pilani. She also has certificate in Personal Financial Planning (PFP) from UC Santa Cruz extension. She has held senior roles in Electronic Design Automation and Runtime Analysis software development. Anandi gets her experience in managing retirement accounts and all types of stock compensation from managing her own employee benefits. Most recently, she was a Financial Planning Specialist at Wade Financial Advisory where she worked with a wide spectrum of clients on developing and presenting financial plans, tax planning, retirement planning, charitable gifting strategies and investments.

Early in her software career, Anandi started noticing small opportunities for tax savings in the tax code. The first of these was the "Kiddie Tax," if a child's unearned income is less than a given limit ($2,100 for 2016), it is taxed at a very low rate. Taking diligent advantage of this feature of the tax code year after year paid for a significant portion of her kids' college expenses. On the other hand, there were many missed opportunities and false steps that were mostly due to neglect and lack of focus as the pressures of work and family crowded out time for long term finances.

Her experience with her family's' finances was a major factor in Anandi pursuing the certificate in Personal Financial Planning at UC Santa Cruz extension and completing the requirements for CFP® certification, including working for 3 years at Wade Financial Advisory. She looks forward to applying her financial planning education and experience along with her analytical skills and life experience to partner with her clients and help them maximize their financial potential.
